This is nice and all, but Adult stem cells can only do so much. They are limited to certain types of cells. The biggest point of embryonic stem cells is their ability to become any kind of cell. If we would use the wasted fertility clinic embroys that are being destroyed anyway, we could cure so much more than we could with just regular adult stem cells.

Thank you for your response. I do not think anything was said about Islam being violent. My criticism was at the political correctness idiocy of educators to do something that is a clear violation of the students' rights. My comment about kowtowing to "Islamofascism" was more in reference to the PC sheep who think such activities are acceptable -- making kids bow down to other religions, and in school, no less! I am all for learning about other religions; but, that incident was a stupid way to do so.

This is just another example of how they try to portray Muslims and Islam in a bad way. I find that picture both rude and disrespectful to the religion, and I just wish that you would take the time to learn about the religion before bashing it. It is true that they should not have been punished for not wanting to bow down, but it was the teacher's fault, and he/she should be the one blamed, not the whole religion. It is violation of their rights, but it is not necessary to make Islam seem like such a violent religion because of this incident!

Just because you can exploit something for your own personal gain does not mean you should. I feel that animals are way too exploited for people. I do not know much about peta but our relationship to animals and the environment is insane. We think we are in charge of all creatures. I imagine peta has to use some offensive tactics to get there point across. Look how many idiots actually agreed with the writer of that ridiculous argument. Suffering is suffering. What makes people better than other animals? Nothing. Actually they are better than us. WE have screwed up our entire environment. We have ruined it for all living things- yet we are to be celebrated. So ridiculous. we are an evolutionary disease. I pray the earth comes up with a virus to rid us all and then maybe..just maybe other creatures can thrive again.

Yeah I remember this story. That was a shame. Chick Filet is a great company and has great food.

They are one of those rare companies who like Trader Joes, Zappos, etc who seems to care about employees and having good employees. Workers tend to be happy and good at what they do.

I also like how they have things they value and stick to that over the bottom line with the whole not being open on Sundays thing. They could probably add alot to their bottom line but the owners believe workers should be at home with their families and have a day off. I believe they are also religious so respect Sundays for that reason as well.

I just went to Chick Filet today. Girl in the drive through was very pleasant, food was great, definately a better quality than the other fast food chains.

Heck everything down to the nice ketchup squirter packets they give you.

I'm going to be doing a write up on them at my blog at http://rulesforrebels.blogspot.com in a day or two, you'll have to check it out.

I find PETA hilarious cuz they just think they can change the whole world by putting on chicken costumes and walking around. I woul never in a million years walk around in a retarded costume.! I found it funny how they make millions but spend it on these insulting ads that I dont agree with. They need to take a chill pill drink some wine and calm it down.
