National Day of Prayer Ruling OverturnedSo, I guess prayer is a protected right still ... for a while. I wonder when the next attack on religious freedom will occur.
A federal appeals court today ruled 3-0 that dismisses a lawsuit against the National Day of Prayer. The decision overturns last year's ruling by U.S. District Judge Barbara Crabb that ruled that the National Day of Prayer is unconstitutional.
The 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that the Freedom From Religion Foundation did not have standing to bring the lawsuit against President Obama. "But unless all limits on standing are to be abandoned, a feeling of alienation cannot suffice as injury in fact," the court said in its opinion opinion.
President Truman signed into law in 1952 a Congressional resolution establishing a National Day of Prayer. The Justice Department had appealed Judge Crabb's decision.

Obama Supporters & Intellectual Viagra
I intentionally refrain from course language and themes; however, lately I can't help but "go there" when I think about Obama's supporters. They first were so enthralled with the woefully under-qualified candidate that they were not unlike a teenage boy with a hard-on. They couldn't think straight, because they were so mesmerized by Obama's blackness. (These ideas came to mind with my current read of Erik Rush's book "Negrophilia." See book description below video clip.) Now, it seems that despite a lot of supporters having abandoned ship, there are those Obama lovers who continue to support him despite his numerous and epic failings ... as if they were taking Viagra to maintain their ... passions.
Case in point: here is a typical Hollywood Elitist suffering stoked on "intellectual viagra" ... Chevy Chase. At about the two-minute mark, you see Chase struggle with coming up with some kind of defense, almost as if he's saying to himself during the long pause "Must ... defend ... Obama! Think, man, think! Must ... defend ... Obama!"
Nice how Chase also manages to squeeze in a cheap shot at our troops. In his eyes, apparently their too stupid at 18 to appreciate the delicate nature of our environment, but they have "the biggest balls of all." Hmmmm ... we're back to male genitalia.
Viagra anyone?

Negrophilia by Erik Rush -- Amazon's description:
Product Description
Negrophilia studies the undue and inordinate affinity for blacks (as opposed to antipathy toward them) that has been promoted by activists, politicians and the establishment press for the past 40 years and which has fostered an erroneous perception of blacks, particularly in America. The book dissects the dynamic of race relations and race politics with an emphasis on same since the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s, how these are likely to develop given a Barack Obama presidency, and how conscientious Americans may discern the deeper truths of these matters and thus develop healthier perceptions.

Obama's Triple Doesn't Exactly Endear Him to His Subjects
Earlier this week in Obama's speech regarding the proposed budget cuts, Dear Leader managed to piss off three groups: the GOP, Paul Ryan, and federal workers. This from Ed O'Keefe of The Washington Post (emphasis added):
His whole freaking administration has been "clumsy." After a triple play like that, I can't wait to see Obama's upcoming Grand Slam! ... his loss in 2012.
Obama overheard bluntly criticizing GOP and assessing federal workers
President Obama bluntly criticized congressional Republicans and candidly assessed his own policies and the performance of federal workers in a meeting with campaign donors late Thursday in Chicago.
Apparently unaware that a microphone was still on, Obama said he essentially dared Republicans to try to repeal his health-care law during the recent budget negotations. “I said, ‘You want to repeal health care? Go at it. We’ll have that debate. You’re not going to be able to do that by nickel-and-diming me in the budget. You think we’re stupid?’ ”
The exchange was overheard by CBS RadioNews reporter Mark Knoller, who had been listening from the White House to an audio feed of Obama’s public remarks before the private meeting.
The White House regularly provides a feed back to Washington from public events across the country. Normally, a staffer traveling with the president will turn off the feed, but in this case no one did and Knoller kept listening after reporters traveling with Obama left the room.
Later in the discussion, Obama said he told Republicans that they should try to pass a stand-alone bill to defund Planned Parenthood, rather than attach it to the broader budget bill.
“Put it in a separate bill,” Obama said he told House Speaker John A. Boehner (R-Ohio) and his staff. “We’ll call it up. And if you think you can overturn my veto, try it. But don’t try to sneak this through.”
White House press secretary Jay Carney on Friday dismissed any potential concerns with the comments. “He was taking questions from supporters,” Carney said. “But there’s nothing — nothing he said that contradicts anything he said in public.”
In the conversation, Obama also weighed in on the performance of rank-and-file federal employees, saying it is “striking ... how generally smart and dedicated” federal workers are, according to Knoller.
But Obama added that some government workers “are slugs and not trying to do their job.”
Over the course of his presidency, Obama has generally lauded the work of federal employees and in a letter this week thanked the government’s 2 million federal employees for working through the recent threats of a government shutdown.
During the exchange, Obama also told donors that the government’s information-technology “is horrible.” Technology is subpar “across the board,” at the Pentagon, Homeland Security, and other agencies, Obama said, according to Knoller’s account.
Knoller said Obama sounded exasperated, adding, “Come on, guys. I’m the president of the United States. Where’s the fancy buttons and stuff and the big screen comes up? It doesn’t happen.”
Obama’s complaints about government technology are similar to concerns raised by his predecessor, George W. Bush, who in his new memoir recalls that poor equipment aboard Air Force One impaired his ability to speak with officials in Washington in the hours after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.
This isn’t the first time Obama has been caught making off-the-cuff remarks to donors.
During an August 2008 private fundraising dinner in San Francisco, Obama said some rural voters “cling to guns or religion . . . as a way to explain their frustrations.” An attendee blogged about the comments, triggering days of controversy on the campaign trail. Obama later conceded that the comment was "clumsy."
His whole freaking administration has been "clumsy." After a triple play like that, I can't wait to see Obama's upcoming Grand Slam! ... his loss in 2012.

Left-Wing Attack on Chico Tea Party: Slander Opposition v. Debate Intelligently
The Chico Tea Party in California has recently been the target of slanderous attacks by an opposition that is incapable of intelligently defending and debating. Rather than offer logical, fact-based defenses of their own position while respecting the rights of others to voice their opinions, left-wingers in the area have posted fake Tea Party invites to an upcoming tea party rally in which racist words and imagery are used. This from local radio station K-PAY:
[tip: P/Oed Patriot]
Here is the Chico Tea Party's response:Chico’s Tea Party is reacting to flyers posted around Butte County that mockingly promote a Tax Day rally in Downtown Chico next week. Tea Party member B.K. Brooks tells KPAY ”I think whoever’s behind it is trying to stir up violence against us with misinformation.” Brooks will discuss the flier and event tomorrow with the KPAY Morning News and More.
HATEFUL FLYERS THAT FRAUDULENTLY IDENTIFY CHICO TEA PARTY PATRIOTS AND BUTTE COUNTRY REPUBLICANS HAVE BEEN POSTED AROUND CHICO ABOUT OUR UPCOMING RALLY. THESE FLYERS WERE NOT CREATED OR POSTED BY OUR GROUP. THIS CLEARLY IS A BLATANT EFFORT TO SILENCE OUR PEACEFUL VOICES AND TO PUT OUR GROUP IN A NEGATIVE LIGHT! CURRENTLY WE STILL PLAN ON HOLDING OUR RALLY TO PROVIDE CITIZENS WHO EMBRACE FREEDOM OF SPEECH AND TOLERANCE OF DISSENTING VIEWS THE OPPORTUNITY TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC REGARDING OUR CORE VALUES OF CONSTITUTIONALLY LIMITED GOVERNMENT, FISCAL RESPONSIBILITY, AND FREE MARKETS.Again, it seems that liberals are only in favor of free thought and tolerant of others' opinions if those opinions match their own. If those opinions conflict, then leftist attacks get vicious.
