Leaning Right: Who In Hollywood Are Conservatives?

I had to laugh while checking out a feature on FoxNews today: "Hot List: Politically Active, Quite Attractive."  There is a slide show of celeb photos and information about their political leanings.  The one about Robert Downey, Jr. was great!
"Robert Downey Jr. says he became a conservative after a stint in jail (“You can’t go from a $2,000-a-night suite at La Mirage to a penitentiary and really understand it and come out a liberal,” he said) and showed off a picture of him with President George W. Bush during a 2007 interview for W Magazine."
So, I set about checking into other conservative celebrities and found this WCBS-TV from some years back (maybe during Bush's re-election):

Clint Eastwood: registered Republican since 1951, Brittney Spears (... not exactly a ringing endorsement for the GOP, but then again, the Dems have Pelosi), Kelsey Grammar, Angie Harmon, Chuck Norris ... of course!, Dennis Hopper ... really?!?  WOW!, author Tom Clancy, Naomi Judd,
Danny Aiello,  quarterback John Elway, Sara Evans, LeeAnn Womack, Johnny Ramone (founding member of the punk rock group The Ramones), NASCAR driver Richard Petty, Marie Osmond, Mel Gibson, Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Jackie Mason, baseball pitcher Curt Schilling, Trace Adkins (and a number of other country singers), Jon Voight, Bruce Willis, Dr. Phil, Bo Derek, NBA star Karl Malone, Susan Lucci, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Kirk Cameron, Gloria Estefan, Jack Nicklaus, Heather Locklear, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Cheryl Ladd, Robert Duvall, Kid Rock, James Earl Jones, Tom Selleck, James Woods, boxing promoter Don King, Dean Cain, Dennis Miller, Meat Loaf, Tony Danza, Mike Ditka, who describes himself as "ultra-ultra-ultra conservative", Pat Sajak, Patricia Heaton, Drew Carey, Sylvester Stallone, Adam Sandler, Jamie Farr, LL Cool J, rapper, Alice Cooper ("when I read the list of people who are supporting Kerry, if I wasn't already a Bush supporter, I would have immediately switched"), Sammy Hagar and the shocker -- rapper 50 Cent said : "I actually like Bush.  In some way, I'm the George W. Bush of hip hop - nobody likes me, but I'm still gonna run it for the next four years."

While searching around, I stumbled across this interview on YouTube of the actor James Earl Jones interviewed about his reaction to Obama's election:

"In my family background, we are 3 different races ... ethnics.  And, so I have no call to be bigoted about anybody.  Therefore, it has released me of being bonded to anybody ... I'm proud of all my bloods."

Well, said!  I'm proud of all my bloods, too!!
