I guess now that the MSM have homegrown terrorists in their own backyard, it appears that they are finally starting to take this threat seriously. As Bob Parks of Black & Right puts it: "Now the real journalists are only now reporting on this...? Prior to their valued discovery, this was either blown off or called the "racism" of evil conservatives. Now that they are potentially at risk, it's time to sound an alarm."
You should check out Revolution Muslim's website. These "radicalizers", as CNN's Jim Griffin described them, not only applaud Ft. Hood murderer Hasan, but they have the audacity to mock one of Nadal's victims, Amy Krueger. Look at this from the islamofascists' website:
Amy Krueger was one of those brave Americans that, after the 9/11 attacks, walked into her local recruiting office and enlisted. Here's the Washington Post's story on Krueger:
She felt she needed to be "an army of one," a story in the local Tri-County Times quoted Krueger as saying two years later after her first overseas deployment, to a 24-bed hospital in Afghanistan. What a bunch of dirtbags these extremists are! Too bad Cooper and Griffin didn't include that lovely little tidbit about Krueger in their report ... but, maybe in a rare moment of respect for the military, maybe the MSM elected not to include that trash so as not to add to the misery of Krueger's family and friends.
Her mother, Jerilyn Krueger, told her, "You can't take this on all by yourself," the story said. "Just watch me," Krueger replied, according to her mother.
At 2 a.m. Friday, a pair of officers arrived at her mother's home with the news that Krueger, 29, now a sergeant with the Madison-based 467th Medical Detachment, had been killed in the Fort Hood massacre ... Her mother, Talerico said, "was just very proud of Amy and what she was doing." She was to have returned to Afghanistan in December.
The final comments of Anderson and Griffin show that perhaps the MSM are starting to wake up from its PC-induced coma: "radicalizers" ... "How can they get away with this?" ... "protected by legal rights given in a country they detest" ...
Donald Douglas of American Power has posted a video clip of Bill O'Reilly blasting the limp-wristed reporting that the MSM have been doing surrounding the Fort Hood shootings.
"We did 5 million viewers at 8 O'Clock wipe out CNN and MSNBC? Wiped them off the face of the earth! The guard has changed in this country. The media guard has changed. And you know why people came in here? Because they knew they were going to get an honest story. They weren't going to get spin that Hasan is some kind of post-traumatic syndrome victim -- some kind of victim of a terrible public policy gone awry. They're not going to get that ... I almost said a bad word. They're not going to get that garbage here."Don't you just love how FoxNews' ratings keep skyrocketing in the wake of Obama's attempt to turn the public against the news outlet? Hee, hee! "FauxNews", as its competitors love to call it. Yeah, right.
[By the way, you really should check out Bernard Goldberg's books. He does an excellent job of skewering the media in their bias. See my sidebar with my reading list.]
UPDATE: Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano today reassured the Arab world that her department was working on preventing anti-Islamic backlash here in the U.S. From the AP as reported on FoxNew:
"This was a terrible tragedy for all involved," Napolitano told reporters in the United Arab Emirates' capital Abu Dhabi. "Obviously, we object to -- and do not believe -- that anti-Muslim sentiment should emanate from this."WHUUUUHHH??? Fer cryin' out loud!!!! What about checking out such radical, homegrown terrorist groups such as the one described above?!? What about "deflecting" more such attacks?!? Why do our fearful leaders continuously insist that we Americans are the ones plotting such evil deeds?!? Napolitano is the same nitwit who had to publicly apologize to U.S. veterans for labeling them as "rightwing extremists" [source].
Napolitano said her agency is working with state and local groups to try to deflect any anti-Muslim anger after the Thursday attacks by Army Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan, a Muslim who reportedly expressed growing dismay over the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The shootings left 13 people dead and 29 wounded.
"This was an individual who does not, obviously, represent the Muslim faith," she said after meeting with a group of women university students.
