Che On iTunes: Oh, The Irony!

Babalú Blog recently found that iTunes is offering an album with Che Guevara's image as its cover: "Somos Hip Hop Radio." Babalú's comment about the offering:

Che Tunes?

Can't I even download a little music from ITunes to my IPod without seeing this monster?

The irony of che's image being used to sell reggaetón and other music, especially music by black artists (he was so fond of blacks) he may not have approved of, is not lost on me. One song not listed here is him giving a speech, set to music. I feel inspired already. To do what, I am not sure.

One of Babalú's commenters pointed out the odd fact that there were no Cuban artists on the album. Wonder why ....
