Film Coming Spring 2008

Ben Stein, whom many of you know from TV appearances and movies and is best known for being the teacher in Ferris Buehler's Day Off, has movie coming out this spring: "Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed." (Stein, by the way, is not just another actor. His credentials are stunning: law degree from Harvard, speech writer for Presidents Nixon and Ford, law professor at Pepperdine, in law worked in the fields of poverty, trade, libel and securities.) Stein details how professors are being silenced and persecuted for not towing the liberal party line with regards to science and, in particular, neo-Darwinism. Here's an excerpt from his website, followed by a link to a trailer for the film.

There is a movement on the horizon that has the potential to change the educational system in America and influence your kids, you and the youth you serve.

For decades now, Neo-Darwinism has maintained a stranglehold within public education, suppressing all other theories on the origins of life - especially those that hint of a "designer".

Oxford professor Richard Dawkins, an evolutionary biologist and author of "The God Delusion" states,

"Certainly I see the scientific view of the world as incompatible with religion."

Your students are being bombarded with such propaganda throughout their education; despite the fact that MOST Americans do NOT believe we're the result of "random chance".

Well, FINALLY help is on the way.

EXPELLED: No Intelligence Allowed, is an upcoming feature film in which host Ben Stein (Ferris Bueller's Day Off) goes on a quest to expose the suppression by science's anti-theist elite, and unveil new scientific facts that may suggest evidence of intelligent design in the universe.

You can go to the website to view trailers for the movie. (I was wanting to post one of the trailers here, but I haven't gotten the information yet from Expelled. But, just click on the blue link at the start of the post to take you directly you to the website and trailers.)

Interesting food for thought. I think I'll keep my eyes peeled for this and see if it comes to St. Louis. It seems that academia and the Intelligentsia are becoming increasingly narrow-minded, anti-semitic, and now squashers of people's civil rights. No one on college campuses can easily express opinions that run counter to the Intelligentsia's agenda. Let the brainwashing being!
